David Simon

Executive Director of Facilities Maintenance

David has served the district since 2015, bringing a strategic, operations-focused approach that supports the critical work of Facilities Maintenance and Custodial teams. He understands that safe, efficient, and well-maintained environments are essential to daily organizational success.

He previously served as an Area Supervisor for Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ ISD Food Service and warehouse operations, where he led large teams and managed complex logistics across the district. David also played a key role as the Director of the Emergency Management Department, ensuring compliance with state requirements during a pivotal time when the State of Texas introduced new requirements into the Education Code all while building strong partnerships with campus leaders and guiding teams through critical incidents.

David holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and has a background in commercial restaurant management. His experience in strategic planning, budget management, and operational efficiency allows him to effectively support front-line staff and districtwide initiatives.

Jason Hawkins

Director of Facilities Maintenance

Jason has served AISD as the HVACR Foreman, in the building automation System controls department, as well as the building operations department. He brought previous experience as a M.E.P Supervisor, and Electrical Foreman. His educational background includes a BBA in management from Texas State University, as well as technical trades school for electronics.

Linda Coronado

Director of Custodial Operations

Linda Coronado serves as the Director of Custodial Operations within the Facilities Maintenance Department. She brings more than 39 years of experience in Texas school districts, including 35 years of dedicated service with Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ ISD.

Linda is committed to developing and delivering meaningful training for employees and supervisors, fostering professional growth, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

She collaborates closely with her team to conduct comprehensive facility inspections and works in partnership with campus administrators and staff to promote energy conservation, sustainability practices, and the reduction of utility costs. Through her extensive expertise and commitment to excellence, Linda continues to enhance the learning and working environments for students and staff across Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ ISD.

Her leadership is distinguished by a steadfast commitment to operational excellence, strategic collaboration, and the advancement of high-quality learning environments that support the success of all students and staff.
