Substitute Teacher & Classified applications for the 2025-2026 school year are now open. !
*Please note: Due to the Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ ISD hiring freeze, no new substitute hires will be made beginning January 2026.
As a result, Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ ISD will stop accepting Substitute applications after November 21, 2025. Only applications submitted on or before this date will be reviewed and considered for the 2025–2026 school year.
The Substitute application process will reopen in Summer 2026 for the 2026–2027 school year.

Please note:
- Substitute Teachers are required to have at least one college credit hour. Substitute Teachers with fewer than 60 college credit hours are only eligible for elementary or middle school assignments, and cannot cover high school teaching positions. Substitutes with only high school diplomas or a GED are eligible for non-teaching positions.
Additional Positions:
- Substitute School Nurse: $210 (Full day) per day, $105.00 (Half day)
- Substitute Administrator: Pay varies by position
- Substitute Counselor: $336.00 (Full day) per day, $168.00 (Half day)

Frontline Substitute Management Center
Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ ISD uses the Frontline Substitute Management Center (abbreviated SMC) to support substitute assignments. The SMC is accessed by logging into the Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ ISD Portal and clicking on the tile in the portal - Substitute Center. At this time, there is no mobile application that can be downloaded for use.
